Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises) repair crews also perform vacuum and pressure tests required for sanitary systems.
Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises) has highly trained repair crews with up to 30 years of repair experience and can perform the most types of repairs. Below is a list of repairs commonly performed by Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises).
A structural repair that is strictly mechanical with no resin involved. QuickLocks consist of two parts: a 316L stainless steel sleeve body covered by a seamless EPDM compression seal. Installed through a manhole or MES, the sleeve is inserted into the pipe and moved into position using an inflatable packer. The sleeve is then expanded and permanently locked in place.QuickLocks are designed to perform repairs on pipes ranging in size from 6”-32” and can be installed with flow present in the system thanks to the use of flow through packers. Host pipe interior diameter reduction is minimal. Installation is quick, easy, and guarantees a permanent structural fix. Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises) are an authorized installer of QuickLocks. Uses for this repair include leaking joints, root intrusion, cracks, holes, and abandoned laterals.
- Pressure Grout:
Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises) uses AVANTI AV100 which is an ultra-low viscosity, chemically reactive gel. AV100 is designed to be the same viscosity as water which allows it to permeate anywhere water can travel and then cure within a controlled time frame. Once cured, it creates an effective, long lasting water barrier while providing superb soil stabilization. Pressure grouting with AV100 is considered to be a permanent repair that is commonly used to fix pipe with water infiltration deficiencies. Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises) is an authorized applicator of Avanti grouts.
- Internal Joint Seals:
Water tight compression seals used to insure joint integrity and reduce groundwater infiltration.
- Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP):
For a more structural repair, Sweeping Corp. of America (Operating as B&D Enterprises) uses a proven method to rehabilitate a pipeline section from 2’-7’ in length called the CIPP sectional repair system. It is designed for pipes ranging in size from 8”-36” with cracks, holes and separated joints. The CIPP sleeve is prepared and then inserted into the pipe and moved into place using an inflatable packer. Once centered over the damaged section of pipe the packer is inflated to press tightly against the host pipe. The CIPP sleeve is then allowed to cure to the side of the host pipe creating a new structural pipe within a pipe. The packer is then deflated and removed and the repair is complete.
